The players of these games are the best of the best and they do not get there by eating potato chips and sitting on the coach. They are working out, every day hard, usually for at least 5 hours per day and then on top of that, eating only the best foods available. They do not eat things like pizza, fast food and french fries. Rather, they only eat foods that are high in protein, low in fats and cholesterols and sugars.
It is best to work out in the morning and the afternoon. Eat small portions of food, 5-7 times per day instead of having 3 meals, all of which fill you up. Never eat a meal until you are full. If you get that full feeling, you have eaten too much.
